1. About us

MobiPhone.uk is a refurbished phone and gadget repair service based at 19 Pepper Street, London E14 9RP. You can contact us at any time at info@mobiphone.uk.

2. Use of our website

By accessing our website you agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse it in any way that could damage, disable or impair the site or interfere with anyone else's use of it. We reserve the right to restrict access to all or part of our website at any time.

3. Refurbished products

Our refurbished devices are pre-owned, professionally tested and graded by condition (for example "A+", "B+" or "C+"). As such, they may show minor cosmetic signs of previous use consistent with their grade. We describe each device's condition as accurately as possible, but small variations in appearance are normal for refurbished products.

Product images are for illustration only and the device you receive may differ slightly in appearance. Battery health and accessories included are as stated on the product listing.

4. Orders & pricing

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation. This confirms we have received your order; a contract between us is formed once we accept and dispatch it. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, for example if the item is out of stock or a pricing error has occurred.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We make every effort to ensure prices are correct, but if we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered, we will let you know and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel.

5. Payment

Payment is taken securely through our payment providers at checkout. We accept the payment methods displayed on our website. Where instalment or "buy now, pay later" options are offered, these are provided by third parties and subject to their own terms and eligibility checks.

6. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders promptly and deliver within the estimated timeframes shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve it.

7. Repair services

When you book a repair, you confirm that you are the owner of the device or are authorised to request the repair. Repair quotes are based on the information you provide and may be revised after our technicians inspect the device, for example if additional faults are found. We will always seek your approval before carrying out any work beyond the original quote.

For mail-in repairs, you are responsible for packaging your device securely. We recommend using a tracked and insured postage service, as we cannot accept responsibility for devices lost or damaged in transit to us. Devices left uncollected or unclaimed after we have attempted to contact you may be subject to storage charges or disposal in line with applicable law.

8. Trade-in service

The price shown by our trade-in tool is an indicative quote based on the device details and condition you select. It is not a final or guaranteed offer.

Once we receive and inspect your device, we will confirm whether its actual condition matches the details provided. If it differs, we may revise our offer. If you do not accept a revised offer, we will return your device to you. Final payment is made only after inspection and acceptance. By trading in a device, you confirm you are its legal owner, that it is not blocked, stolen or subject to any finance, and that all activation locks and accounts have been removed.

9. Warranty

Refurbished devices and repairs carried out by us are covered by a warranty as stated at the point of sale or on your repair documentation. The warranty covers faults arising from the device or the work we carried out, but does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse, or faults caused after the device leaves us. This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.

10. Returns & cancellations

If you are a consumer buying online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, without giving a reason. To do so, contact us within that period and return the item unused and in its original condition. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item or proof of return.

Please note that some services, such as completed repairs and accepted trade-ins, cannot be cancelled once work has begun or payment has been made. This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty or not as described.

11. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods we supply must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, and services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill. If something is wrong, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

12. Liability

We take care to provide our products and services to a high standard. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under law.

13. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and images, is the property of MobiPhone.uk or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse any part of the site without our prior written permission.

14. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order or use our services is the version that applies. Any updates will be posted here with a revised "last updated" date.
